November 18, 2009 Dear Parents, On Thursday, December 10 th , we will hold our annual Parent/Teacher Conference Night. As in years past, teachers will be available from 7:00 p.m. 3 9:00 p.m.

to meet with you for a brief conference to discuss your child 9s progress. For your convenience and to be more environmentally conscious, Emmaus High School has implemented an online registration process that will eliminate unnecessary paper and give parents a real-time view of conference availability. This new procedure will allow you to go on-line, select the time you would like to meet with your child 9s teachers, and give you immediate confirmation of your conference schedule.

The window to sign up for conferences will be open from November 23 3 December 4, 2009. In order to sign up for parent-teacher conferences, please go to https://epsdemmaus.ptcwizard.com and follow the directions. You can view complete directions by clicking on Directions for Parent Teacher Conferences on the high school webpage.

I have also included frequently asked questions (FAQ 9s) below. If you have any additional questions or require assistance scheduling your conferences, please call Mrs. Julie Frazier at 610-965-1650.

We hope that this new program will simplify the registration process for you and, as al- ways, we welcome your feedback. Sincerely, David F. Piperato Principal Congratulations!

this issue: Emmaus High School Volume 9, Issue 2 November 2009 A message from Mr. Piperato FAQ I forgot my password 4how can I sign in? If you have already registered but can not remember your password, simply click the link on the sign in page that says cForgot your password.

d Then you can enter your email address into the field that says Email and click the Remind me Button. You will then receive an email reminding you of your password. Wait a few minutes to see if you have received this email and then use the password to sign into your account.

Can I add more than one child to my account? Yes, you can add as many chil- dren to your account as necessary. To do this, simply click on the My Account link at the top right corner of the page and then click the My Children link in the navigation menu.

You will then see a list of your chil- dren that you added to your account. There is also a form on the right side of the page where you can add more children. Why do some time slots say UNAVAIL- ABLE?

The word UNAVAILABLE will ap- pear next to any time slot during which the teacher will not be able to accept appoint- ments. This time is either reserved as a break for the teacher, or UNAVAILABLE indicates that the teacher has a conflicting appointment. Why do some time slots say RESERVED?

If you see the word reserved next to a time slot, another parent has already made a reservation with the teacher at that time. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis. How can I get another copy of my schedule?

You can always get another copy of your schedule by logging into your account, clicking the PTC Wizard link on top and then selecting My Schedule. You will see two links at the top right of that page. One link will print your schedule and the other will send a copy of your schedule to your email address.
